Give Now to Defend our Public Lands—Before the Damage Becomes Irreversible.

The places where we connect with nature—and the people who protect them—are under unprecedented attack by the Trump administration. Weakened protections, deep budget cuts, and corporate polluter greed are putting all of our public lands at immediate risk.

The Sierra Club is fighting back to protect our national parks, forests, wildlife refuges, and all public lands across the country.

Your donation funds our urgent work, including:

  • Grassroots organizing to build public pressure and political power at all levels of government.
  • Advocacy for common sense policies that protect the health of our communities, environment, and public lands.
  • All of our team's efforts that lead to the long-term protection of public lands, wildlife, and the environment.

Please, help protect federal workers, wildlife, ecosystems, and access to these irreplaceable landscapes for future generations. Because the future of public lands is worth fighting for.

For over 130 years, the Sierra Club has protected the priceless, shared lands that belong to all of us. These attacks are monumental—but so is our movement when we show up together. Pitch in today.

Frequently asked questions
Is my donation tax-deductible?

No. As a C4 non-profit organization, our donations allow us to lobby for environmental protections and to litigate against our biggest threats. However, this tax distinction — while giving us a broader range to enact change — also restricts gifts from being tax deductible.

How can I see how my donation is being used?

86¢ of every dollar donated goes straight to the implementation of conservation programs. This can include campaigns to protect and restore habitats, lobbying for environmental justice, and litigating against entities that are destroying our land, air, and water.

What is Sierra Club's mission?

To explore, enjoy, and protect the wild places of the earth;

To practice and promote the responsible use of the earth's ecosystems and resources;

To educate and enlist humanity to protect and restore the quality of the natural and human environment;

And to use all lawful means to carry out these objectives.
