Sierra Club Military Outdoors

Your donation will help ensure that those who have defended our rights and freedoms and their families get to enjoy the land they served!

Time spent in nature promotes mental and physical health, emotional resilience, and leadership development. Military Outdoors trips are led by former service members with outdoor leadership training, and research shows they help ease the transition many veterans face when returning to civilian life.

Our work is made possible by support from people like you. Contribute today to help fund research into the benefits of getting outdoors and public land advocacy, among other projects. For example, $25 eliminates transportation challenges and gets a service member or veteran to the trailhead. $100 funds a full-day adventure and community-building for one individual, and $250 provides everything needed to introduce a veteran to a transformational weekend of backpacking!

Give the gift of a life-changing experience today!
