Is my donation tax-deductible?

No. As a C4 non-profit organization, our donations allow us to to lobby for environmental protections and to litigate against our biggest threats. However, this tax distinction — while giving us a broader range to enact change — also restricts gifts from being tax deductible.

How can I see how my donation is being used?

86¢ of every dollar donated goes straight to the implementation of conservation programs. This can include campaigns to protect and restore habitats, lobbying for environmental justice, and litigating against entities that are destroying our land, air, and water.

What is Sierra Club's mission?
