The Sierra Club Political Committee is member-supported committee registered with the Federal Election Commission. There is a $5,000 annual SCPC contribution limit per individual; gifts from spouses are considered separately. Individuals may give $5,000 to SCPC and still support other political action committees and/or candidates. Contributions to the SCPC are not subject to gift tax. Contributions are voluntary, and you have the right to refuse to contribute without reprisal. Contributions from foreign nationals, corporations, labor unions, federal contractors, or banks may not be accepted and will be returned.
In addition, if you are not a Sierra Club Member, your gift will be returned.
